RCHAIN; THE FUTURE OF DECENTRALIZED INTERNET
Recently wanted to take on smart contracts cause it seems that’s where tech enthusiasts are aiming at till I was introduced to a platform more futuristic than every blockchain platform I have ever read about. At least, a life less dependent on cloud giants is possible, if not yet easy.
Decentralized internets creates a world where services such as Financial services, Medical services, Log distribution for critical systems, Monetized content delivery networks, Governance solutions, IoT command distributions, Market places, Robot logs, Car logs, Social networking are provided not by centralized services owned by single organizations but by user powered technology like the scalable blockchain application — Rchain. Decentralization of internets provides a counterbalance to abuses and corruption that occasionally occur in large organizations where power is concentrated. Decentralization supports self-determination and the rights of individuals to self-organize.

Rchain is a blockchain-based platform that is innovating the decentralized internet. Its innovation is beyond cryptocurrencies. RChain’s design is inspired by that of earlier blockchains, utilizing decades of research across the fields of concurrent and distributed computation, mathematics, and programming language design. The platform includes a modular, end-to-end design that commits to correct-by-construction software and industrial extensibility. It is a transformation in blockchain technology as it empowers its users. These users of decentralized applications own and control how their information is used and shared. Comparing Rchain with Current blockchain platforms, it seems Rchain it’s on its way to successfully solve most scalability, speed and safety problems littered around other blockchain platforms while adding some major features, crucial for a truly decentralized Internet.
HOW RCHAIN IS INNOVATING;
The platform will host and execute programs popularly referred to as “smart contracts”. It will be trustworthy, scalable, concurrent, with proof-of-stake consensus and content delivery. Using smart contracts, a broad array of fully-scalable decentralized applications (dApps) can be built on the top of this platform. DApps may address areas such as identity, tokens, time stamping, financial services, monetized content delivery, Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs), exchanges, reputation, private social networks, marketplaces, and many more. The RChain Network implements direct node-to-node communication, where each node runs the RChain platform and a set of dApps on the top of it. These contracts are written in RhoLang, which is a strongly-typed, concurrent, and correct-by-construction language (Developers can learn Here) The RChain decentralized applications platform is powered by the Rho Virtual Machine (RhoVM) which is turing-complete, byzantine fault-tolerant, and replicated. They run multiple RhoVMs that are each executing a smart contract. These execute concurrently and are multi-threaded.

1. Speed: RChain’s architecture should allow it to easily accommodate tens of thousands of transactions per second. RChain plans to launch with the capacity to handle 40,000 transactions per second eventually improving towards its goal of 100,000 transactions per second.
2. Tools: The developer tools on the RChain platform are unmatchable by current market offerings. RChain plans to offer a platform that easily allows developers of different backgrounds and coding languages to easily connect their apps and products to its blockchain.

4. RChain Cooperative: The co-op is a public group made up of RChain’s developers, investors, and users. It allows its members to develop and access RChain’s open source blockchain.
